Long Winter's Nap

After playschool and being sick last week, Sarah was ready for a little nap.

Death in the Family

Sarah lost Papa yesterday. She didn't know her Daddy's dad too well, really. For most of the 18 months he was around, Papa was quite sick and could rarely leave his house. When she visited him, though, he told Sarah how pretty she was, he let out those big laughs of his when she did something cute, and he gave her loving touches. It's too bad he could not have enjoyed her more. Bye Bye, Papa.

My First Pictures

Sarah got to try her hand with the digital camera for the first time today.

New Camera

So our video camera decided to stop auto zooming right before Christmas. Then our digital camera decided to stop, too! We had to grab a new digital camera pronto to snap Sarah shots, though!

Preschool Profile

Sarah was "Star of the Week" at her preschool, so she had a special display to make for all her friends and teachers to see.

Anticipation

Sarah has a calendar this year, counting down the days til Christmas. On Thursday, she was so ready that "I want to go to Friday" kept coming out, even tears because she wanted Christmas so much. Who could blame her...all those presents under the tree, the Christmas party at playschool, Santa, the decorations and lights around. I would want to go to Friday, too!
